Square 70cm canvas completed during a windy coastal weekend. The colours and brushstrokes give it away, I think.

Bush walk
Large canvas work which is a bit more landscapey than I usually do. I’ve spent a weekend alone painting by the beach and bush so I guess it must filter through to my canvas!
2 bold squares
Strong little guys (77cm square) with bold marks and a story to tell!

Untitled rectangular canvas 76×102
This piece is a softer work but still with quite a lot of vibration, I think.
4 works on paper 50×65 cm
Some of the paintings available for sale during my upcoming exhibition at Art Gallery on Darling, 307 Darling Street, Balmain 14-19 May 2019

Works chosen for Hunters Hill Art Prize 2019
Very happy to have these 3 works in the finals of the prestigious annual prize. 92×125 cm framed.
Sorry about the quality of these images, viewers !
These 3 works are calm and soft compared to other paintings I have completed recently but still contain vibration and activity….

2 large works on paper
These two works done a while back have resurfaced and undergone some finessing before being framed. I’m preparing for a solo show and one never knows which pieces to take or leave behind…..The fact that these two paintings have reared their heads again means something.

Dark moods
2 sombre works on canvas which have evolved dramatically after a tough week. Recently we lost a wonderful fellow artist at Willoughby Arts Workshop , Karine Vereecken. She was such a beautiful artist with a kind heart. Also a beloved family member passed away. All these emotions can’t help but influence my painting, whether I am conscious of them or not. ….

Greengrass 91x126cm canvas
Interesting mark making and areas of softness . I can feel soft green grass under my feet here !
